Block by Block / Quilt Series

A series of work on canvas geometric in composition, with repeating motifs. A layering of color and texture, creating depth and providing the illusion of layer upon layer, of fabric, metal or leather. Inspired by a hand stitched quilt passed down through generations, but modernized and transformed from its utilitarian origin.
