Abstract Naturalism Series

Inspired by nature, this series focuses on the minimalistic landscape with blended planes of color, subtle color gradations, contrast colors, and the illusion of the horizon line disappearing into the distance.  Seascapes, Mountain Ranges, Fields, and Beaches form from multiple layers of color and texture. Often utilizing the pallet knife to etch into the layers of paint to represent trees or grass. The viewer becomes lost in a forest of trees created by drips cascading down the canvas, or experiences a beautiful setting sun as the color intensifies and then fade.
